Participate in Latvian Project Management Championship for Students. Do not miss this opportunity to challenge yourself against other students in the field of project management, and become the best young project managers in Latvia.

To apply for the Championship you should:

  • Be a student at any of the Universities in Latvia
  • Make up a team of 3 – 4 members
  • Fill the application form

Participation is FREE of CHARGE.


PM Championship will happen within the following dates:

  • February 12th – deadline for applications
  • February 18th – Qualification round (online) – for all the teams
  • March 4th – Final round – the best 4 – 6 teams from Qualification round
  • March 17th / 18th – International Project Management Championship in Riga, Latvia (during the Baltic PM Days 2016)


The winners of the Championship will get:

  • Possibility to get IPMA level D certificate for free
  • Special prizes from Latvian National Project Management Association
  • Participation in the International Project Management Championship in Riga (Latvia) on March 17th / 18th.


About the championship

PM Championship is a competition, where university students compete in their project management knowledge

The aim – to promote project management field amongst students and raise awareness of project management culture both in local and international level.

Working language – English.


Championship rounds

Qualification round – all the teams do the online Qualification test (100 questions in 100 minutes). After the qualification, the best 4 – 6 teams with highest results (most % correct answers) are chosen for the Final round.

Final round consists of case study (4 hour workshop) and presentation of the results in front of international jury of 5 members. Teams have to arrive at the Final location at a previously assigned time.

International Championship – the winners of Latvian championship will be given the opportunity to participate in International Project Management Championship, that will take place in Riga from March 17th  – 18th. Teams from 7 countries will do a project management simulation and the best new project managers will be determined.
International final will be a part of the conference Baltic PM Days 2016. Winners of Latvian PMC will have free access to the event for both days.
